Run by the Gateway Membership Team, Tenant Question Time (TQT) events are your chance to have your questions answered.
Following feedback from residents that they wanted to speak to our teams directly, our Gateway Membership Team decided to run regular TQT events that give you the opportunity to come and ask questions.
Once a topic is decided (these are decided by the Gateway Membership Team but they are always open to your suggestions!) we will invite you along for the evening. The sessions will always be both in-person and virtually to make sure everyone has the ability to attend.
We will then do a Q&A session using the questions tenants have sent in advance, and those given on the day. Please note that our panel of staff members will only answer questions on our services as a whole, any personal questions should be sent to our Customer Services Team.
After each event, we will we publish a report which includes a summary of the questions asked and the answers given.
Our most recent TQT topics have included:
TQTs are the perfect way for tenants to engage with us, better understand why certain decisions are made and help make improvements.
After most of our TQTs, we will hold a scrutiny session shortly after which involves a deeper dive into that topic.
This involves a panel of residents, members of our Gateway Membership Team and our Independent Resident Advisor. The group will discuss feedback from the TQT, current policies, personal experiences from tenants and other relevant data.
By looking at the way we do things in more detail, it gives our residents the ability to challenge us, engage with us, understand us and ultimately help us make real change.
