Loud music

We would only consider loud music a nuisance if the duration lasts longer than 30 minutes at a time for more than five days in a row.

We suggest that you speak to your neighbour first to explain the issue, as they may not realise that it is causing you a problem. To help you with this, we have produced a “Dear Neighbour” postcard – simply download it, print it out and post it through their door to let them know your concerns.  

If you still feel disturbed, please download our Noise App where you can start to record and report the noise you are hearing. We can then advise you if the noise is something that we would investigate. Please note, we can only take action if the person causing the noise is one of our tenants.

If the noise is coming from a property that is not owned by Watford Community Housing, you can report your concerns to your local authority.
