Supporting the LGBT+ community in Hertfordshire
This year we were once again proud sponsors of Herts Pride – Hertfordshire’s biggest celebration of the local LGBT+ community.
On Saturday 31 August, Cassiobury Park became a sea of colour as it hosted the 11th annual Herts Pride.
For those that may not know, Herts Pride is a safe, inclusive and fun day dedicated to supporting and celebrating the local LGBT+ community. There are live performances throughout the day – this year we were treated to the fabulous Gareth Gates – access to information and advice from local partners and charities, delicious funfair food and rides and, of course, the legendary Herts Pride Dog Show!
We have proudly supported the event since its inception in 2013 and this year was no different as we were the sponsor of the community and wellbeing marquee. As the community wellbeing sponsor, we had a brilliant time chatting to people, many of whom were our residents, and letting them know about our housing options, employment opportunities and how they can get involved with us.
