Thanks to local charity Goods for Good, we were able to provide free school uniform to families who need them, just in time for the next school term!

On 22 August 2024, our Community team held a pop-up shop in our Leavesden Green Community Hub for families to pick up some unbranded school uniform, as well as hygiene products and stationery packs.

Goods for Good very kindly donated all these items to us in order to help people in our communities save money this summer.

Overall, we helped around 20 families and received some great feedback, including “it has put my mind to rest as I was worrying about how I was going to provide for my child” and “thank you so much for doing this – it has really helped me out financially.”

We gave some of the items that were left to another pop-up uniform shop that was being held on Friday 30 August at the Rugby Club on Radlett Road, and donated some of the red and green sweatshirts to Coates Way School and Cherry Tree Primary School at the beginning of September.
