To celebrate LGBT+ History Month, we are very excited to announce that on Wednesday 23rd February 1-2pm we have arranged for Peter Tatchell to speak to us!

Peter Tatchell is a human rights campaigner, a journalist for The Guardian, has a documentary out on Netflix called “Hating Peter Tatchell” and is also director of the Peter Tatchell Foundation, a human rights organisation that aims “to raise awareness, understanding, protection and implementation of human rights, in the UK and worldwide"

He was born in Melbourne in the 1950s and came out as gay in the late 1960s when homosexuality was still illegal. Having just turned 70, Peter has had to fight for equality for a very long time – the fight is still going on, and he is showing no signs of stopping.

Join us for what is sure to be a truly powerful and important discussion with Peter about his life of LGBTQ+ activism, gay liberation, and so much more.

We would like as many people to attend as possible, so save the date now and share with your friends!

Here is the Zoom link for the event.
