It’s gardening competition time!
As the date of our gardening competition grows nearer, here is everything you need to know about how to get involved. And remember - no matter whether your garden is big or small - all of our residents can get involved!
On 17 June 2025 we will be holding a gardening competition that all our residents can get involved in!
The three categories are:
- Best-kept front garden
- Best-kept communal garden
- Best floral display e.g. pots, baskets or balconies
Winners will receive gardening vouchers up to the value of £50!
How do I get involved?
To take part in our competition, you can apply as an individual or as part of a group (if you are part of a group, please nominate one individual to contact us on behalf of the group).
Simply email your name, address and which category(ies) you want to apply for to jane.pursey@wcht.org.uk by Monday 12 May.
We will get back to you letting you know whether our judging panel will visit you in the morning or afternoon - we are very excited to announce that we will be joined by green flag judge Barry Joyce!
Here’s the small print...
To take part you must be a Watford Community Housing resident, and if submitting as part of a group, you all must be residents.
You can submit an entry to more than one category.
The top three winners in each category will win a shopping voucher, donated by our contractors, Accuro.
