Hub hirer spotlight – Little Blossom Nursery

Our community hubs are home to a wide variety of hirers, including dance schools, one-off parties and nurseries.

We are pleased to announce that one of our hirers, Little Blossom Nursery, received a ‘good’ Ofsted rating at our Luther Blissett Community Hub and have opened a second location at our Leavesden Green Hub! To celebrate this, staff from LUX, our Electrical Compliance contractors, painted the small hall ready for the nursery to open their doors again for the new school year. 

Here is Laura from Little Blossom to tell us a little bit about her nursery school:

“Little Blossom Nursery School is a family run business born out of the passion and experience of its owners who recognise the need for high-quality, flexible childcare at affordable prices. 

We are a small nursery school, favouring familiar staff and a child centred curriculum over profit. The community hubs are perfect for our nurseries as they mirror our ethos and mission. A nursery school at the heart of the community, helping local families build a bespoke childcare package that is as individual as the children who attend. 

Our first nursery, located in the Luther Blissett Community Hub has recently been awarded a ‘good’ rating by Ofsted. To receive this rating, after only six months of being open really reflects the hard work, passion and dedication of the Little Blossom team and gave us the perfect platform to open our second setting located at Leavesden Green Community Hub and to continue working hard to deliver the outstanding service that we aspire too.  

At Little Blossom Nursery School the children and their families are at the heart of everything we do, therefore we offer flexibility within our sessions, allowing children to join mid-term, have term time only or full year contracts and choose session times (subject to availability). We hope offering this flexibility means our childcare is affordable and tailored to each family’s needs.
